Usually when you use that term “walk on eggshells”, you are speaking about being extremely cautious about your words or actions. Today when I looked at our situation and all the things happening in our lives and around us… I just felt like we were walking on eggshells… it is all so fragile when you walk by faith and sometimes you feel like everything could crumble down any Moment!

But then the Lord spoke to me and said… I am the rock! I am always the same and I don’t change like a shifting shadow! It reminded me on James 1,17:

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. (NIV)

Sometimes it feels a bit like I am shooting at the stars and I should rather stay here on earth! Do you know that feeling? In the Spirit things seem to be so clear, but in the natural the obstacles look so big! It is like it all could just explode and make the stars a reality and you can almost touch them and on the other hand it feels like it could all fall apart and just have been a nice dream!

But so often when looking at the stars shining and lightening up the sky, the Lord has been speaking to me again and again. He has said that as surely as I can see the Stars in Heaven on a clear summer night, as surely he has called me to build this work and go and take the Land by Faith like Abraham did. I sure hope it does not take that long ;-).

Anyhow… is that not the Faith Walk? We walk by Faith and not by Sight! We sometimes would love to see more… but somehow we need to walk faithfully anyhow!

I decided afresh today to just dream big and reach for the stars! I want to trust my God in spite of the obstacles! Because I know that the God of Abraham is also my God and he will bring us into that new land that we have been dreaming for for so long!
