What are you doing for God today? I am sure you want to go out there and do good things and that is honorable and good. We are supposed to do good, to reflect the Father. Like he says in Matthew 5, 16:

In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven. (NIV)

But there is a higher way and that is what God wants to bring us to. We can do good all of our life! We can help the poor and serve the community. We can give donations and do charity! Wow, that is awesome and honorable. But what is the will of God for your life? What does he want you to do today?

We have this little thing… not sure if it is popular anymore, but many put this armband around their wrist with the sentence:

WWJD – What Would Jesus Do!

But maybe it is time we don’t think about what he would do. The question is rather: “What is Jesus doing? What is he doing right now?”

Jesus only did what he saw the Father do… What a statement! You might say… “well he was God’s son” and yes that is true. But he walked the earth as the Son of Man. He was like you and I. So don’t you think that maybe it is possible for us too, since he is living within us… to do the will of God, rather than just doing good things?

Today I just got a fresh revelation about that and am so excited about it! Come on guys, let’s just be before the Lord afresh daily and find out His will for our lives! Find out what he is doing and then just do it! Shall we?
