I want to share some thoughts today about the role of leaders and maturity in Church. I remember one day, when I was complaining, because I had to clean the poo (the dirt) of our two little cats we just got. Oh Lord… what a job. Every morning I would get up and there was poo everywhere. Under the sofa… on the sofa… you name it.
We see it everywhere and the election in the US has just confirmed what God has been speaking all along. The winds of change are blowing!!! Consider this passage in Scripture:
You can do it! Really?
This was a tough week and I faced lots of attacks and was under constant fire from the camp of the enemy! I am sure you know weeks like that! Oh boy am I glad when things start changing again and the attack is less strong :-).
Usually when you use that term “walk on eggshells”, you are speaking about being extremely cautious about your words or actions. Today when I looked at our situation and all the things happening in our lives and around us… I just felt like we were walking on eggshells… it is all so fragile when you walk by faith and sometimes you feel like everything could crumble down any Moment!
What are you doing for God today? I am sure you want to go out there and do good things and that is honorable and good. We are supposed to do good, to reflect the Father. Like he says in Matthew 5, 16:
In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven. (NIV)
Revelations 12, 10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: "Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ. For the accuser of our brothers, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down.
Psalms 109, 17 As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him. 18 As he clothed himself with cursing like as with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones. (KJV)
The other day I took the wrong turn off while being in another city and I was driving towards an area where an old friend of mine was living. We had a very deep friendship in the past and also ministered together for years. But something happened and our relationship came to a halt. It was not a good thing and inside I knew, that I had to do something about it.
A big thank you to the "Drupal" team for the great work. You have managed to get the basic stuff up in such a short time, that is awesome!
Thank you Des, Wes und Anita! You are stars! Let's keep on working in order to make this site into a vessel that brings glory to Jesus, encourages His people and makes the church into a city on a hill, shining forth His glory!
People shall Follow Him!
We've had some crazy months and weeks behind us this year. In the year 2001 the Lord has slowly but surely leading me into a time of desert concerning any public ministry. Before that I was a regular conference speaker, wrote some books and was ministering in many different nations around the globe.
